Why did the tourist cross the road? Probably to escape bad tourist jokes like this one. But seriously, everyone enjoys a good joke and tourists are about the easiest people to laugh about. Tourists don't mind being the butt of a funny joke since at some point, everyone is a tourist. The Internet is chock full of hilarious, goofy and downright silly stuff about wild and wacky tourists if you're looking for a good laugh. But the great thing about tourists though, is that there's always material for creating your own universally funny jokes or in-jokes that can be shared between locals about those crazy visitors from out of town.

You don't need to be a comedy writer to see the humor in the funny things that out-of-towners do. That's why it's so easy to make up tourist jokes about things that would otherwise seem like completely innocent mistakes. The above example just goes to show that making up good tourist jokes is hard work. You really want to go for something that's going to actually make people laugh, not hurl rotten fruit and vegetables at you. Chances are that if you find a joke that makes you laugh, it's going to make other people laugh too. That's why it's a great idea to just find funny jokes online rather than make them up yourself. Unless you're really good at making up jokes, it's best to save yourself the trouble and a bruised ego by just telling a good joke that somebody else made up. It'll probably work out so much better for you. Really.
